eTapestry Foundation Makes Second Grant

St. Mary's Child Center

The eTapestry Foundation is delighted to announce its second grant to St. Mary’s Child Center, in Indianapolis, IN.

St. Mary's Child Center is a not-for-profit education center that is focused on helping young children who are at great risk for a wide range of social, emotional, economic and environmental problems and whose needs are not being adequately met by any other private or public service.

The goal of St. Mary's is to provide an opportunity for at-risk children to become successful, healthy and productive adults by fostering social, cognitive, physical, and emotional development. St. Mary's does this through two programs: the Diagnostic Clinic and Early Childhood Program.

The grant will provide breakfast and lunch for two children for an entire year. Most of the three to five year olds being served at St. Mary’s are poor and often arrive at school hungry. When children are not able to have their basic needs met and are hungry, all other areas of development are put at risk.

The provision of food also allows children to be nourished so that they can sing, dance, paint and play like other children. It allows children, who have been deprived of food at one time or another, to be sure that there is plenty of food for all (just one less thing to worry about).

eTapestry Celebrates 5th Anniversary!

September 2004 - In the first week of September, 1999, a dream was launched by a small group of individuals committed to introducing a new form of software to the nonprofit community. That new form of software would save nonprofits thousands of dollars, be easier to use, and would eliminate the headaches and maintenance that were part of traditional software applications.

Within a couple months a small handful of pioneering nonprofit organizations were up and running on this new software called eTapestry. They began to immediately see the benefits of web-based donor management software that could be accessed from any Internet connection, was updated monthly, and was easy enough for the entire staff to use. Word about eTapestry began to spread and today over 4000 nonprofit organizations around the world are experiencing those same benefits.

September 2004 marked the 5th anniversary for eTapestry which has grown to not only provide a donor management database, but to also provide fully integrated website development and hosting, as well as ecommerce services to it's worldwide customer base.

eTapestry is grateful for the opportunity to work with so many fine organizations and would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you!" to everyone who has helped eTapestry grow to be the leading provider of web-based fundraising software.

A click of the button from your Outlook task bar can transfer a received email or send and update the journal on a new record.

If you have ever gone searching for copies of emails in your "sent" file, or tried to retrieve an email from your "deleted" items, then this is the tool for you. Cost is 20% of base eTapestry service – includes document attachment.

Query Multi-Select

Have you ever needed to query on just three of your funds? Or would you like to see responses to all of your email campaigns. In the past this might require multiple queries compounded together. Now eTapestry has simplified the process by letting you multi-select on Funds, Campaigns, Approaches, and Letters. This new feature will save you loads of time, and is part of your standard eTapestry upgrade.

Updated Report/Export Writer

A new interface on the report/export writer makes it simpler than ever to use. A step-by-step process guides you through selecting your report fields, defining special functions, and generating your report or export. A preview feature even lets you see how your report will be layed out before running it. This new capability is part of your standard eTapestry upgrade.
