Goodnight Children Everywhere
Quantity Remaining: 40
In September 1939 hundreds of thousands of children, wearing name tags and carrying gas masks, marched away from their schools, boarded trains, buses and even boats to set off for new lives in faraway places. Goodnight Children Everywhere contains eighty people's memories, photographs and letters chronicling their experiences of evacuation. Their stories are touching and amusing, capturing the pathos of being separated from one's family and friends in a country at war.
