Skill Level: Intermediate
This intermediate course is for those looking to further their wheel throwing and hand building skillset. Throwing instruction will focus on plates/platters, large vessels built in multiple components, & lidded forms. Hand building instruction will focus on alternative slab techniques, working with slump & hump molds, and bisque stamp making. Students are encouraged to bring in reference images for ideas that they hope to accomplish in the class.
Supply List. * Tuition includes $35 in class firing fee.
Students are encouraged to practice ceramics outside of class hours. Open Studio hours are available. To learn more, go here.
