Governor's School Foundation Online

Your contributions to our Annual Fund directly support the students and faculty of Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies (MLWGS). The Governor's School Foundation raises over $300,000 annually to provide funding for faculty continuing education, clasroom learning enhancements, club competitions and trips, class-related travel, aid for students in financial need, alumni events, and other enrichment opportunities. Foundation contributors at $750 and above are invited to participate in Director's Circle events.  

The Foundation processes online donations on behalf of Boosters groups.  Suggested contributions are listed; all contributions are appreciated. Each club strives for 100% participation.

The Foundation is pleased to process online membership renewals for the PTSA, which is an advocacy organization dedicated to our children’s health, well-being, and educational success at the Governor’s school and beyond. Through your membership, the PTSA is able to provide support for 1.) the student directory, 2.) teacher and staff appreciation gifts and events, 3.) school/student support and 4.) will pay your PTSA membership dues ($3.75) to the Virginia and National PTAs, which serve as advocates for all public schools.

As a courtesy, the MLWGS Foundation is processing payments for the spring Music Department trip to New York City.  The Foundation also provided a $2500 grant to offset the total cost of the trip for every student.  The payment schedule is as follows:
