  • Community Weeks in the Tapping Reeve Meadow
For centuries, Litchfield’s newspapers have captured the spirit of the community. To celebrate the CT State Library’s digitization of over 50 years of Litchfield newspapers, the Litchfield Historical Society is hosting a special Community Week in the Tapping Reeve Meadow with crafts and games all about newspapers!  Featuring:
    • Print Making Experiments – Try out different ways of making prints - from vegetable prints to Styrofoam and rollers.
    • Scavenger Hunts, Coloring Pages, Newspaper ‘Madlibs’ and so much more!
    • PLUS … Lawn Games, painting, and meadow activity kits!
Registration is appreciated, but not required. Visitors are required to wear masks to socially distance from other groups.  In the event of rain or inclement weather, the program will not be held.
