Creating a form that sparks inspiration and conversation the sipping vessel is the perfect canvas for exploring surface. In this workshop we will learn methods for creating and utilizing bisque hump molds & drape molds for slab building drinking vessels. In addition to construction techniques, we will explore surface composition through texture and carving. I will reveal my methods for creating my surfaces, tips for carving as well as ways to create your own texture tools.
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
- Participants must have the ZOOM video platform downloaded on a computer or phone. It’s easy! Download here.
- Participants must have reliable internet access and a computer or phone with sound recording and web-cam capabilities to participate.
- Once registered, students will receive a video meeting code along with simple ZOOM instructions.
