In this workshop, you will learn how to use a monoprinting technique, transferring hand drawn images onto leather hard clay using underglazes and colored slip. I will be demonstrating my particular methods to achieve timeless, aged, and weathered surfaces on a red clay base while discussing form inspirations and how those form choices influence surfaces. You will leave the workshop with tips on how composition and spacing play an important part in the end result of this diverse technique. The possibilities for images are endless! This class is intended for all levels.
