    This program will address managing your yard for both aesthetic appeal and ecological health.   We will discuss some commonly held misconceptions and current recommendations on tasks such as tree mulching, lawn care, seasonal maintenance, and landscape plant selection.

    Celebrate Earth Day a few days early with TLC and Galer Estate Winery! Join us for the first in a lecture series on the Spotted Lantern Fly.  Find out about the potential of this invader to destroy our wine, beer, fruit, and lumber industries. Learn what you can do to mitigate damage at your home and workplace.
    Offered by TLC and Penn State Extension.
    Hosted by Galer Estate Vineyard and Winery. Totally outside on the deck, so dress accordiningly, Covid compliant, masks mandatory and pre-registration is required. Limited seating. A short tour of the vineyards afer the lecture may be offered.
    Must be 21 or older to attend.
