If you are not quite sure how you would like to join Special Hope Network and its ministry to orphans with intellectual disabilities, we would love for you to consider the following ways of joining us:

1. Praying. First and foremost, go to our 'Pray' page, and spend some time there. Prayer is the foundation of all that we do, and so your prayers are invaluable to us! If you would like to be sent prayer requests and updates, please sign up for our 'e-news' emails on the homepage.
2. Becoming a Monthly Supporter. While we are very thankful for one-time gifts, the most helpful gifts we receive are those from monthly supporters. Monthly support will enable our ministry to orphans with intellectual disabilities to continue on a daily basis, and will certainly be the backbone of our work in southern Africa. It will provide for our living costs, our travel expenses to and from orphanages and schools in Zambia and other southern African countries, and for the training we provide at these locations. Monthly support also allows you, the supporter, to be more actively and intimately connected with the work of Special Hope.
3. Sponsoring a Child. This is the most direct way for you to care for orphans with intellectual disabilities. You can learn the specifics of this opportunity by visiting our page on Sponsorships.
4. Giving an informational packet to your church missions team. We can send you this packet, and you can give it to them with a personal introduction. This is so much more effective than us sending it an as unsolicited packet in the mail. If you would like a packet, please email us at info@specialhopenetwork.com.

Sponsoring a child is the most direct way for you to care for orphans with intellectual disabilities through Special Hope Network. Right now, as we are in the initial phases of our sponsorship program, we do not yet have the option for you to sponsor a specific child, though this option will be available in the future. Please sign up for our 'e-news' emails to hear more about the development of our sponsorship opportunities.

If would you like to be a part of this program now, you can give specifically to this fund, so that your gift will only be used to provide for the unique needs of orphans with intellectual disabilities. Your gift will be used to cover the specific costs of the nutritional, medical, educational, therapeutic, and staffing expenses involved with caring for these children.
