This Leadership Award was established to encourage, support, and inspire partnerships and excellence in dementia care. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge exemplary support of the goals, programs and services of the Alzheimer Society. This award is the highest honour presented by the Alzheimer Society of PEI. It recognizes a person or organization that works toward or promotes excellence in the field of Alzheimer and Related Diseases. There are many people who support the work of The Alzheimer Society, promoting and advocating for person centered care and quality of life. The Society wishes to publicly acknowledge and validate any outstanding contributions while providing examples of what we can aspire to with conscious commitment and dedication.
Who is Eligible for the Award?
Any organization or person who actively implements the above criteria and continues to display outstanding leadership throughout the province of Prince Edward Island is eligible. National work would be an asset, but is not essential.
Who Can Nominate?
Any person or organization can submit nominations for this Award.
If you know of someone who actively supports the work of the Alzheimer Society and has shown excellence or outstanding leadership in the province or in their chosen profession or occupation, this is an opportunity to have them considered for this special honor and recognition.
