Update: With the continuing evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have made the difficult decision to keep my Miles 4 Mental Health journey in Ontario. Not only is this walk actually longer than my original journey to Nova Scotia, I believe it is in the best interest of public health. Thank you all so much for your support.
For those of you who know me, Toni Schofield, you know that I love a good adventure!
My full time job is with Canadian Mental Health Association, York & South Simcoe. I take great pride in the work we do in and around our community.
On April 30, 2021, I will embark on a truly amazing adventure, an EPIC adventure if you will…There will be no planes, trains, or automobiles on this journey!! Just 2 feet and a heartbeat.
50 days. 1,900 kilometers. 2,945,000 steps.
During this, I hope to raise funds and awareness for CMHA YRSS, and fight the stigma associated with mental health.
