In 2019, Noise hosted our first Make it Loud walk on September 22nd in Milton, in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association Halton Region Branch. Over 80 participants joined either the 1K or 5K walk to raise money for mental health and mental illness services in Canada. We were so proud to see all of the fundraising efforts in advance of the walk, and everyone's enthusiasm and energy. We had a fantastic day together, raising $3,973.53 for CMHA!
For our second year, we are hoping to increase participation and funds raised for the Canadian Mental Health Association Halton Region Branch even higher.
Due to physical distancing requirements, we are adapting this year's event from a one-day walk to a month-long fitness challenge in September. Using the Nike Run App, you’ll track your walk/run distance alongside other members who join the challenge. Participants can work at their own pace whenever and as often as they wish. Together, we can encourage each other to hit our physical and personal goals!
Your donations will be made directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association Halton Region Branch. There is no defined registration fee - any level of support is appreciated. Our goal is to spread awareness and increase participation, as well as increase our fundraising support. Together, let's try to hit $5,000 this year for CMHA!
Thank you so much for your continued support for Noise and making it loud for mental health.
