  • Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) Committee
  • Membership & Rules Committee
  • Coordinated Entry Committee

We encourage our members to join committees that correspond with their interests.  If you are able to commit to a few more meetings, please consider joining a committee that relates to your interests and skillset.

  • Project Selection and Ranking Committee - Evaluates the outcomes (performance) of funded programs and approve or reject applications for funding. They’ll also determine gaps in housing and services, consult with funders on the allocation of funds, and utilize a rating system to prioritize projects for funding.
  • Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) Committee - Provides oversight of the HMIS Applicant and the HMIS implementation and may make recommendations for changes to the system, privacy policy, security policy, and data quality plan. Also monitors compliance with HMIS requirements prescribed by HUD; and monitors participation in HMIS by users throughout the Continuum.
  • Membership and Rules Committee - Provides checks and balances for the Continuum. This committee will adopt a policy establishing rules related to conflict of interest and recusal as well as code of conduct provisions for all members. They will oversee the implementation and interpretations of the policy and exercise sound judgement over the selection of Board members, assuring proper qualifications and geographical dispersion and diversity of all prospective Board members. The committee will also act on complaints filed against the Continuum and report on all complaints and resulting recommended actions to the Board. In addition, the committee, in consultation with the Collaborative Applicant and the HMIS Lead, will annually review and update the Continuum’s Governance Charter.
  • Coordinated Entry Committee - Responsible for identifying and coordinating services throughout the Continuum, including assisting with referrals. The committee will develop written standards for assessment and program admissions. They will ensure the Continuum’s system of care meets the needs of homeless individuals and families throughout its geographic area. The committee will recommend training for service providers and be responsible for planning the annual “point in time count”.
