The Owl Prowl is Friday, December 15, 2017
Naturalist and teacher, Gregg VanDeusen, will lead this popular early-evening hike while talking to children and families about the various species of owls in the area and making owl calls to elicit their responses. Gregg also discusses other types of wildlife in the area and explains how our eyes work in the dark.
We'll meet at Black Kettle Trail in Essex at 5:30 pm and the hike will last until about 7:00.
Because of the need for quiet, this class is limited to 15 people.
$10 per person, under 21 free.
