Christmas, 2017

Dear Friends of DPD,

The Christmas Season is here and we are excited to celebrate this very special time of year.

Your contributions have allowed DPD to provide a high level of care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  It is because of you that we are able to “provide help” and “create hope.”  Throughout the last year, we have provided care for 78 adults in our group homes and supervised apartments.  We have also provided vocational support for 58 individuals at our Gruenert Center Day Program.  In addition, your support has allowed us to empower the individuals who we serve to be active in the community, provide support to families of adults with developmental disabilities who live at home, provide pastoral care for former residents who now reside in nursing homes and expand our recreational activities.

As the Christmas Season approaches, DPD calls for your help. Each of DPD’s Programs has a Christmas Tree waiting to be decorated.  You may sponsor an ornament that will display your special message or memorial at the program or your choice.  You will also receive an ornament in the mail that has been handcrafted by a person who works at Gruenert Center.

Your Christmas gift of $100, $500, $1,000 or whatever you can afford can make all the difference...to the people who live in our group homes and supervised apartments, to the clients who work at Gruenert Center and to all of the families who we help in the community.  Please send your most generous donation to DPD today.  God bless your good heart.

All contributions are 100% tax-deductible.  Matching gifts may also be available through your company.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call our Development Office at 973-406-1104.

We wish you and your family many blessings throughout this Christmas season and a happy and healthy New Year!
