Flanders is pleased to be hosting Jane Seymour, a Connecticut DEEP wildlife biologist, who will be leading a program on Connecticut birds and their migration habits.
Ever wonder which birds fly south from Connecticut and where they go? Which birds fly south to north? Which ones overwinter here in Connecticut and what they need to survive the season? Jane will be providing interesting insight into these questions and also discussing some of the threats facing bird survival and how we can help.
Weather permitting, following the presentation there will be a short walk of the Van Vleck property to identify varying bird species.
Cost: Free; please do pre-register so we know how many to expect.
In the Additional Comment Section, please let us know how many will be joining us. Thank you!
