Virtual Garden Discoveries

 

 

Age: Pre-K (3 - 5 years old)

Time: 1:00 - 2:00 pm

 

Our virtual Garden Discoveries classes are designed to inspire young children about the natural world around them. Since each child learns in a different way, every class examines one topic through stories, outdoor exploration (done in your own backyard), and hands-on activities. Each class will begin with a Zoom Circle Time and story, as well as a guided activity and Q&A period.  At the conclusion of our virtual class (approximately 20-25 minutes), students are encouraged to go outside with a parent or caregiver to complete an outdoor activity related to the topic of the day.  Activity Kits will need to be picked up at Van Vleck House & Gardens prior to the class.  

 

Registration deadline:  the Tuesday prior to each class.

 

$10 per child/per class for Members; $15 per child/per class for Non-Members
