Young Artist Concerto Competition

Competition details

The first round of competition auditions will be held by video submission. Application, payment, and video files must be submitted no later than Friday June 11, 2021. Please submit a recording of one movement.  Piano accompaniment is preferred but not required. Finalists will be notified on June 21st.  The Finalist round will take place in person on July 12th. 

 

Winners will receive an honorarium from NJIO for their achievements and their participation in the following NJIO activities:   

 

The winners will play their piece at one concert with NJIO during the 2021-2022 season, pending state protocols for Covid-19.  Winners may be asked to play a piece other than their audition piece. Winners will be required to attend two or three Monday evening rehearsals and occasionally meet with the conductor prior to their concerts.    Winners are required to provide their bio and headshot to NJIO by July 16, 2021.
