Cycle 2 of the BC ECHO for Chronic Pain will include 10 monthly sessions from September 2019 - June 2020. Participants now have the option to register for individual ECHO sessions or for all 10 Cycle 2 sessions. For planning purposes, please tell us which sessions you plan to attend. Please note that exact dates and topics are subject to change.

  • November 19, 2019: Interventional pain management techniques
  • December 10, 2019: Motivational interviewing
  • January 21, 2020: The pain-focused history and sensory exam
  • February 18, 2020: Headaches
  • March 17, 2020: Sleep disorders and pain
  • April 21, 2020: Complex Regional Pain Disorder
  • May 19, 2020: Providing trauma-informed care
  • June 16, 2020: Screening for psychiatric and psychosocial co-morbidities

If you're feeling stuck on a tricky patient case, the case presentations included in the monthly ECHO sessions can help. By submitting an anonymous patient case presentation, you will have opportunities to present your case and receive interdisciplinary community and specialist recommendations that are designed to be realistic and helpful for patients living with pain.

 

All health care providers are encouraged to submit a case to help expand their learning and improve their practice. If you are interested in submitting a patient case, please fill out the following field and we will be in touch with more details.

Pain BC uses LearnUpon, a cloud-based learning management system to deliver the Courses. In order to register for and/or purchase a Course, you will first need to register with Pain BC.
