Back on the Kennebec River & Celebrating 76 years of Pine Tree Camp!
(or participate virtuallly - What Will YOU Do?)
The 25th Annual Bath Savings Paddle for Pine Tree Camp will be safely back on the Kennebec River this year as we enjoy the Maine outdoors in the spirit of Pine Tree Camp. Your health and safety is our top event priority. There will be complete covid-safety precautions in place at the Kennebec event, including a choice of staggered start times!
For those who are not able to paddle with us on June 5th, you can participate again virtually, enjoying your own favorite activity while joining others to raise vital funds for Camp this summer. What Will YOU Do?!
In addition to Pine Tree Camp to You virtual programming and Adventure Day Pass - developed during 2020's pandemic - Pine Tree Camp is now operating all 4 seasons and adding an Adaptive Bike Program and Family Camping this summer. As we serve hundreds more Maine kids and adults with disabilities, and their families/caregivers, we are dedicated to continuing the Open Door Policy that has been in place since Pine Tree Camp opened its doors in 1945.
But, we can’t do it without you. In fact, we need YOU more than ever. Register below - you can also form/join a team and ask others to join you in registering and donating. There are two ways to fundraise - online (easiest) or via paper forms.
TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
1. Paddle on the Kennebec River on June 5th
Our traditional Paddle for Pine Tree Camp experience. Join us and bring your fundraising team as we paddle the Kennebec River for Pine Tree Camp on Saturday, June 5th. The adventure starts at the Evergreen Campground and ends in North Anson. Staggered start times are offered for covid safety - just indicate your preference when you register.
2. Participate Virtually with your favorite outdoor activity.
Go on a bike ride. Take a family hike on a local trail. Walk around your neighborhood. Have a dance party. Or, jump in your kayak and go for a paddle. The choice is yours- what will YOU do? (And we'd love it if you'd share photos/videos with us!)
Just remember, with every pedal, step, or cut in the water, you are making a big impact on the lives of Maine people with disabilities who depend on Pine Tree Camp.
We ask that all paddlers raise a minimum of $100 - all proceeds from the Paddle for Pine Tree Camp support Pine Tree Camp’s Open Door Policy.
HOW TO REGISTER & FUNDRAISE
Complete the form below. Choose whether you will raise funds and form a team online (we make it easy!), or if you prefer a traditional paper packet of materials for grass roots fundraising.
