This training is limited to 20 people to provide sufficient time for interaction, role-playing, discussion, and feedback.  The curriculum includes an overview and information about postpartum depression and related perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), including how to distinguish between the baby blues and PMADs; the definition, value, and types of social support; how to handle difficult situations; and role-playing common issues and support group scenarios that arise when supporting women experiencing PMADs.
