How did you hear about us?
Tutors must be 18 years or older. High School students are allowed to tutor as long as an adult is with them.
Check all age groups you prefer to tutor. We try our best to match you with the grade preferences of your choice.
Sometimes, we are not able to match you right away or your schedule changes. Would you mind being added to our substitute list?
I have volunteered to serve as a tutor of homeless children in furtherance of the purposes of School on Wheels of Massachusetts, Inc., a Massachusetts charitable corporation (“School on Wheels”). I understand and affirm that in connection with this volunteer role, I will be required to travel to one or more homeless shelters/schools from time to time and participate as a tutor for one or more children who reside or attend school at those shelters /schools (the “Program”).
I hereby agree to assume all risk of accident, injury, sickness, death, loss of/or damage to my personal property or other detriment to me relating to or arising out of my participation in the Program.
I covenant that I will not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against School on Wheels and/or any of its members, officers, directors, employees, or agents, arising out of or relating to my participation as a volunteer in the Program. I also agree to hold School on Wheels and its members, officers, directors, employees and agents harmless from any claims relating to my participation as a volunteer in the Program.
Further, I understand and agree that I am choosing to participate in the program on a voluntary basis, and I am not required to participate.
