Eco-Heritage Spring Boat Cruise

Registration is now open for the Spring Eco-Heritage Boat Cruise, traveling from Astor to Sanford, FL! Passengers for each two-day trip meet in Astor, Florida for boarding our voyage.

The trip includes:

– Guided tour speakers on ecology, wildlife, history and issues impacting the St. Johns River

– Stops at Green Spring, Hontoon Island State Park, and Blue Spring State Park

– Wonderful photo and wildlife-viewing opportunities

– Riverfront overnight accommodations

– Catered lunches

– Quick morning breakfast options

– Parking and chartered bus transportation

– Comfortable seating aboard the Blue Heron River Tours pontoon boat that seats 40 passengers with a restroom on board.


Cost is $400 for single room passengers and $700 for doubles. $50 nonrefundable deposit due at registration, and balance is due 30 days before departure.


A complete trip itinerary, frequently asked questions including what to expect, what to pack and a reading list, plus menu choices will be sent to registered passengers 30 days before departure. Dietary, walking and accommodation requests are included in your reservation form. Lodging is included. You will be staying at Tropical Resort or Riviera Resort. We take care of your room arrangements.

The full registration fee is $400 each for single room passengers and $350 each ($700 total) for passengers sharing a room. This includes the $50 (per passenger) non-refundable deposit.


Deposit Policy

For reservations made up to 30 days prior to the departure date, a $50 (per passenger) non-refundable deposit is required in order to hold your reservation. Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure date.


Cancellation Policy 

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact our office at (904) 256-7591 immediately so we can make your seat available to someone else. You always have the option of transferring your reservation to a future trip at no charge for any reason.


A full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee per passenger, will be issued for cancellations that are made due to medical and family emergencies up to 10 days prior to the boat trip.


A 50% refund, minus a $50 administrative fee per passenger, will be issued for cancellations due to medical and family emergencies that occur less than 10 days prior to the trip.


We are sorry, but no refunds will be issued for cancellations within 24 hours of departure because expenses for the trip have already been paid.


If the trip must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather or low capacity, a full refund will be issued or applied toward the registration fee for a future 2-day boat trip.


Hotel Room Policy

We make the hotel arrangements. If you have specific needs or requests, please reply to your registration confirmation email with those requests. 


SOLD OUT trips

When a trip becomes full you may enter the waiting list. Each time a person cancels, we will contact the next person on the list. You do not need to pay a deposit in order to join the waitlist, just email today.
