Learn more about what is being done to address hunger and food insecurity in the community while enjoying coffee, tea, cookies and other treats. Westside Food Bank's Chief Development Officer, Genevieve Riutort, will host a panel discussion with several nonprofit leaders from agencies working to address hunger and poverty throughout Los Angeles County. Panel guests include Chef Derek Brandon Walker of the Mar Vista Restaurant and formely with St. Joseph Center, Jared Call of California Food Policy Advocates, and Westside Food Bank Executive Director Bruce Rankin. Get the facts, get inspired, and learn how you can get involved.
The discussion will take place in Westside Food Bank's warehouse so you will get a taste of what hunger relief work really looks like.
