Are you up for the challenge?

7:00 pm Friday November 9

7:00 am Saturday November 10

Parking lot of Grace Church of the Nazarene,

1601 South Main Street, Eureka IL

Each vehicle participating is asked to raise a minimum of $1000 for the "privilege" of spending the night in their car. Gather as many people that you want but everyone must fit in your vehicle for the evening.  Ask your family, friends, or co-workers to join the event.  Get creative with your fundraising!

The event will include educational opportunities to learn more about homelessness and domestic violence and the challenges it poses for our society.  Come experience what it might be like when men, women, and children have to live outside, overnight, in their car.  Proceeds for the night will benefit Heartline and Heart House and support our continuing efforts to help the homeless in  Woodford County.

What you need to know:

  • You provide your own car (and gas).
  • Children are welcome to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult throughout the evening.
  • No alcohol, illegal substances or open flame will be allowed on premise.
  • Indoor restrooms will be accessible as well as a place to come out of the elements, if needed.
  • Food and beverages will be provided throughout the evening as well as a celebration breakfast on Saturday.
  • All participants who submit their t-shirt size to Brandi ( by October 15 will receive a "I Survived a night in the Car" t-shirt.
  • Prizes to the top fundraiser and top teams!

Register to participate below!  Only one registration is needed per vehicle, however for planning purposes, we would love to know an estimate of the number of participants in your car.
