Shift Information

Please indicate your preferred events and shifts by checking the boxes below. Selecting more shifts increases the likelihood of your being selected as a volunteer. If you are not available for a particular shift, please leave that field blank. 


Current ZAP members and past volunteers will receive shift priority. We cannot guarantee, but will do our best to assign a preferred shift. Most shifts are about 4 hours long and require standing or walking for extended periods.

  • BACK OF HOUSE– set-up and/or break down (lift and carry 40 pounds—case of wine)
  • FRONT OF HOUSE– customer service, hospitality, love to help people (stand for periods of time)
  • LOGISTICS– organizing, directing people (moving quickly, multi-tasting, trouble-shooting)
  • Zinfandel Guru– in depth knowledge of Zinfandel, ZAP wineries, other wines/wineries
  • Social Media Maven– creating excitement, storytelling via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
